My first game of proper cricket would’ve been at the tender age of 9 for St Canices in the Westport primary school cricket comp. Went to the mighty Buller High School made the first XI at the age of 14 years I did enjoy in the latter years the chance to play in the Gillette cup was good.

I made my senior club debut at the age of 12 for the Buller High School side in the senior cIub comp as they were short from time to time at that stage of my cricketing life I was a leg spinner I later became a wicketkeeper and am now a medium pacer.

I first joined LPWCC this season after sone stern talks from my fellow Buller team mate Andy Duncan but it was something I had wanted to have a crack
at for a while but this year everything fitted into place.

My debut for LPWCC was a dream start really against Sydenham took 5-22 I have no idea how really it was my first game back bowling after a year out with injury so it was a good feeling.
I have my level 1 coaching cert and passed UE but decided to help the family out in the family owned business instead of going to Lincoln Uni.

No real career aspirations at the moment I run the local Mitre 10 store with my father, its been in the family for about 80 years so that keeps me pretty busy hopefully next year I will get away and do some more travelling in the UK.

I suppose in closing I would like to thank everyone at the club for making me welcome this season hopefully I can continue to make the trip over the alps in the coming years.
